Needle felted toadstool ornaments
These are the ornaments I made for this year's freshlyblended Handmade Ornament Swap. I've been wanting to try needle felting for a while now and I'm really glad I did. These little toadstools were easy and quick to make, which was nice since I ended up making at least 20 of them. I used this kit, which came with all the supplies and tools I needed. I think the toadstools are a nice continuation of the bavarian kitsch theme I have going with last year's cuckoo clock and 2009's accordion.

Those look awesome! Have been wanting to make mushrooms for a while now. Thinking of doing some in clay for terrariums. But the felted ones are super tempting to try.
